The Sandwich Saga is a sandwich popup that combines seasonality, global flavors, nostalgia, and childlike curiosity to create food that baffles you on paper, but nurtures your palate. Seattle transplant chef Alexander Gonzalez likes to believe it’s serious, but not serious at all in his approach. Having worked 13 years in professional kitchens in Chicago and Seattle, including Michelin starred establishments; he applies his extensive knowledge of flavor, and technique into fun, yet familiar sandwich creations.
