Chef Khampaeng Panyathong is a Seattle-based chef and restaurateur, born in a Thai refugee camp to a Lao family and raised in Seattle after immigrating in 1987. Trained at North Seattle Community College and cooking professionally since 2003, he is the owner of three acclaimed restaurants: Taurus Ox, Ox Burger, and Ananas Pizzeria. Passionate about honoring his Lao  heritage while building community through food, he strives to create meals that are both thoughtful and joyful
