Our week of spirt cask saisons continues with Lario, a saison aged for five months in Fernet Lario casks from Highside Distilling on Bainbridge Island. Highside Distilling uses Washington-grown apples and a blend of ten different botanicals to distill this local Fernet.
Lario has a huge aroma and notes of mint, anise, pine, smoke and bitter orange peel. Don’t let the excitement of Jep distract from Lario, this one is killer!
